Gateway Jax lands game-changing Publix for $2B Pearl Square development

Gateway Jax has secured one of the region’s most recognizable brands to anchor its multibillion-dollar Pearl Square redevelopment: Publix.

The Jacksonville-based developer announced Tuesday that Publix will bring a 31,000-square-foot, full-service grocery store to 119 W. Beaver St., between Hogan and Laura streets, filling a gap in fresh food access that downtown residents have long called a priority.
